Orella Ranch- Natural Building Colloquium Update

Here are some photos from the 2008 NBC project at Orella Ranch.






Many hands and talents went into making these walls a diverse showcase of natural wall system techniques and artistic natural plastering. We used a combination of earthen plaster, lime plaster and aliz.

Pallet Barn!

We are in the process of building a barn with reclaimed pallets that we have infilled with straw and clay. Dafyd and Yolanda Rawlings came to teach and lead us in the process.

I am in now very in love with this building technique. We are so happy to be looking forward to a place to house our tools, creative projects, equipment and animal food.
